The Innovators Behind Cornerstone VR

Behind the technology is a team where vision, expertise, creativity, and care come together seamlessly, and that’s what makes Cornerstone VR more than just a tool.

Every headset deployed, every scenario created, and every conversation sparked is the result of this collaboration. It’s a reminder that innovation is most powerful when people work together with purpose and heart.

Turning Vision into Action

Every innovation begins with big-picture thinking. Mohammed Hussain, our Chief Revenue Officer, sets the strategic direction, ensuring our VR solutions reach the sectors that need them most. Working alongside Karen Taylor, Paul Leahy, and Kam Parmar, the team identifies opportunities, builds strong partnerships, and ensures every organisation can experience Cornerstone VR’s impact.

Karen’s decades of experience in transformation projects help guide growth, Paul’s passion for education fosters meaningful partnerships, and Kam ensures every client journey, from demo to contract, is seamless and personalised. Together, they turn ideas into actionable strategies that guide the rest of the team.

Bringing Practice to Life

Once the vision is clear, our operations and practice specialists make it real. Amy Callaghan, our Chief Operations Officer, ensures smooth delivery and quality at every level. Serena Hadi, Head of Operations and Practice, designs and tailors VR content with real-world challenges in mind. Social work experts Abby Cooke and Hannah Knight embed virtual reality (VR) into partner organisations, helping staff translate immersive experiences into reflective, practical practice. Their combined experience in social care, safeguarding, and education ensures every scenario is meaningful, accurate, and impactful.

Making VR Work for Everyone

Technology is only as powerful as the people behind it. Neil Brockhurst ensures every headset and scenario runs smoothly, using his lifelong love of gaming and VR to push experiences beyond expectation. While James Orton draws on his anthropology background and curiosity about “lived experience” to evaluate and improve each VR session, making sure it truly resonates with users.

Sharing the Story

Once the experiences are ready, Corinna Leaning and Stacey Cox bring the team’s work to life through creative marketing and communications. They show professionals not just what VR can do, but why it matters, translating innovation into stories that inspire, educate, and connect.

Collaboration at the Heart of Innovation

What makes Cornerstone VR truly unique is how all these pieces fit together. Vision guides action, practice grounds innovation, technology delivers the experience, and storytelling amplifies impact. Each member: from leadership to operations, social work experts to marketing and business development – brings their own expertise, passion, and creativity.
