Fighting Knife Crime London

Fighting Knife Crime London (FKCL) sets out to be London’s most accessible cascade of resources to help
young people change their life chances. All their resources are completely free.

On the FCKL website you will find a full directory of organisations, video area and podcast library, their regular and much-heralded online magazines promoting new thinking on youth empowerment, news area, and their library of public resources all gathered in one space.

FKCL aim to support everybody, whether governmental, charitable or community-based, that helps to power the aspirations of young people. They are a are one-stop centre of information for all who care for children and young people. They change lives, striving to eliminate the causes of youth violence and alienation.

Funders' criteria make fundraising difficult for a small charity like them. This is simply because they provide community and general resources for everyone, but don’t work directly with young people. Even a small sum can help. Donate here.

Fighting Knife Crime London is delighted to partner with Cornerstone VR. We share their passion to tackle trauma in the lives of children and young people, and recommend virtual reality as an excellent way to engage young people in the cruel reality of carrying a knife.

Our Pain 2 Power Logo

Our Pain 2 Power

Our Pain 2 Power is an Alternative Learning Provision dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk youth through hands-on learning,
personal development, and emotional well-being support.

Our Pain 2 Power provide functional skills equivalent to GCSEs, combined with tailored workshops on self-worth, resilience, and crime prevention.

Their approach is rooted in real-world learning, where students engage in interactive discussions, practical activities, and mentorship that equip them with the tools to navigate life’s challenges. By co-producing lessons with young people, they ensure their voices are heard while guiding them toward positive opportunities.

Committed to reducing youth crime and vulnerability to exploitation, Our Pain 2 Power empowers young people to turn their struggles into strength, helping them break free from negative cycles and build a future filled with purpose and success.

The VR experience has genuinely been one of the most impactful tools we’ve used in our sessions. It opens the door for real conversations, self-reflection, and behaviour change. For some of the young people we support, this is the first time they’ve truly seen how their choices could play out. It’s immersive, it’s powerful, and it’s changing perspectives.

Knife Crime Matters

Knife Crime Matters empowers young people with the knowledge, skills, and resilience to make safe, positive choices that steer them away from the dangers of knife crime.

Dedicated to creating a safer future for communities by providing accessible, age-appropriate educational resources that engage, educate, and inspire children and young people, Knife Crime Matters is currently working directly with individual schools and non-academic venues to deliver their educational resources.

Their programs include: Education and Awareness Campaigns, Youth engagement, Support Services and Community and Policing Partnerships.

They deliver this with the support of organisations such as CIC's and commercial businesses. Their partnerships help them to fund the development and delivery of essential educational resources which help young people gain the knowledge, confidence and tools in order to avoid becoming trapped within knife or gang related crime. If you would like to support them and help your local school or other non-academic venue like a youth club, get in touch here.

Cornerstone VR’s commitment to the safety and education of our communities aligns powerfully with our mission to tackle knife crime at its roots. Through awareness, early intervention, and collaboration, we aim to create lasting change.

Unique Talent

Unique Talent was founded to break the generational cycle of offending and gang culture. They empower young people to transform their struggles into strengths,
proving that their environment doesn't define their future.

Rooted in lived experience, Unique Talent's programs foster positive choices, build resilience, and pave the way for a future free from crime and violence.

Through early intervention, rehabilitation, and community collaboration, they are dedicated to creating safer communities and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Their values are simple: empowering lived experiences, offering second chances, embracing love and forgiveness, and providing no judgment.

Their trauma-informed and family-centred mentoring and programs help young people feel valued and connected to their communities.

We're honoured to partner with Cornerstone VR, whose unique virtual reality experiences allow users to step into the shoes of those with lived experience. This exciting collaboration will educate not only young people but also parents and the wider community.

Mikey's World Logo

Mikey's World

Mikey’s World is a charity founded in memory of 16-year-old Mikey, who tragically lost his life in a knife attack in June 2023.
The charity is dedicated to supporting the local community and preventing knife crime.

A key initiative of Mikey’s World is the distribution of Catastrophic Bleed Kits across the community, including pubs, clubs, community centers, and other public spaces. These kits are designed to provide immediate aid in critical situations. The charity also offers free training sessions on how to use the kits, ensuring individuals are prepared to respond effectively in emergencies. Training has been delivered to staff in local schools, businesses, pupil referral units (PRUs), and children’s homes.

Through its commitment to education, prevention, and community support, Mikey’s World strives to create a safer future for young people.

At Mikey’s World, we are committed to creating a future where young people feel safe and supported. Our partnership with Cornerstone VR is an important step in this mission, offering at-risk youth and those supporting them a powerful, immersive experience that highlights the real-life impact of knife carrying. By bringing this technology into schools and communities, we aim to support professionals in their preventative efforts and give young people the insight to make safer choices. We’re excited that this initiative will serve as an additional tool for professionals to aid in the prevention of knife crime.
